Sauvage is an endless composition. Its structure is so rich that we can bring it an entirely new brightness by adding subtle nuances.
For Sauvage Parfum, I envisioned an intense freshness blended with the softness of an oriental. I kept the powerful spirit of Sauvage intact, while adding nighttime accents, animal magnetism, and deeper, broader facets.

Sourced from a plantation in Sri Lanka that has partnered with Dior for over 10 years, the sandalwood used in Sauvage Parfum holds rich nuances and exceptional qualities, thanks to very unique cultivation methods.
Sandalwood, which is notoriously difficult to grow, is carefully nurtured at the start of its growth and then “released” into a completely wild plantation where nature takes its course. In this harsh, untamed environment, without human intervention, each tree continues to grow, struggling to thrive and endure—sometimes reaching over 100 years old and more than 12 meters in height.
Only through this process do its unique olfactory properties develop year after year, becoming the rare, powerful, and rich sandalwood note found in Sauvage Parfum.
